President Bouteflika appoints Ahmed Ouyahia as new Prime Minister. 15th August 2017.
President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has made a minor cabinet reshuffle in which he recalled Ahmed Ouyahia as Prime Minister and replaced three other ministers; the office of President announced on 17th August. Ouyahia, 65, will replace Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The reshuffle included the appointment of Youcef Yousfi as minister for industry and mines, Mohamed Benmeradi as trade minister and Abdelwahid Temmar as housing minister. The other 24 ministers kept their portfolios in the cabinet.
